HELO not fully qualified

Exchange 5.5 server has an invalid hostname. It is not fully qualified. How do I change the HELO command to issue a fully qualified hostname so that it is seen as valid in the email header?

I think the 5.5 IMC gets this from the computers TCP/IP properties.  Is it running on NT4?  Look at Network Neighborhood/Protocols/TCP-IP/DNS - I think it uses the values in Host Name and Domain when communicating with another SMTP server.

If I remember correctly, that is.

The computer Exchange is running on is clustered with another NT 4.0 server.  The Exchange Server portion is a clustered resource. I am wondering if in the ExchNetName resource inside Cluster Admin is where I would need to make the change from a single hostname to a fully qualified hostname??
