Email Recipient Receiving Winmail.dat
We are having a problem with a user sending email via Outlook 2003. She is trying to send a PDF attachement to an address (all addresses at the same domain have the same problem), but the recepient receives a winmail.dat file.
I have been researching this problem for a while now, and I know that the winmail.dat file contains RTF header information. I have confirmed that the recipient is using Lotus Notes. I have tried setting this user to only send as plain text and have also set the contact to send only as plain text. I have checked the email in her Sent Items folder and have confirmed that it was email as plain text. Everyone else in our company can send to this recipient with no trouble.
In addition to sending as plain text, I have tried reinstalling her Office and deleting and recreating her Outlook profile. I would like to know if there is anything else I should try.

It looks like the comment from war1 about renaming the outlook.dat file took care of the problem. I was waiting for a response back from the user to let us know if it had worked or not. It took her a few days to get back to us.
Thanks for the Help!
