Ok the customer has hosting through one company, and have just changed ISP's, the problem eventuates when trying to send mail through the mail accounts associated with the hosting. @blahblah.com.au, the @isp.com.au mail goes through fine.
I can send from my domain to any of the @blahblah.com.au accounts and yes they all do exist, i assume this is a problem with the ISP, i have called them a few times and they deny the problem has anything to do with them.

Sounds like the ISP has not enabled the DNS for the hosting domain. Maybe it takes awhile for DNS to get enabled.

Could you elaborate on that?
The DNS should be done by the hosting company not the ISP shouldnt it?
The domain has been set up for over a year now.

Dinga84, I thought you said that your customer just got a new ISP. So the hosting company needs to be hooked up to the new ISP.
ASKER
What do you mean by hooked up?
When a hosting company gets a new ISP, the ISP needs to connect the IP address and set up the services for a hosting company. That is what I mean by hook up. The process takes a couple of days to a week, depending on the ISP.

My client got a new ISP, the hosting company didnt.
The mx records for mail.blahblah.com.au point to the hosting companies server, there is no probs there, its just that sending mail from any of the clients computers brings up that error msg, this has only happened since one of the clients offices changed ISP.

Points increased to max, somebody must have an idea.
If you can send to one domain, but not another, there is nothing wrong with Outlook. Recipient ISP is blocking the sender's domain or something is wrong with the ISP.
ASKER
The ISP claim they arent blocking anything, ive spoken to them on numerous occasions, and the error is saying "No such user" which if it was blocked should say relay access denied or some other such message.

Dinga84, did you ask for the Tier 2 Support Tech or supervisor when talking with ISP?
ASKER
Yeah i have spoken to the useless pricks about 6 times, they just tell me to logon to their site and remove spam filtering. Or blame the hosting company. I set the account up on my machine and it works fine, i think i will advise my client to change ISP, hopefully there is a cooling off period.
Error message there is no cc@*****.com.au Is there such a user? Check if you got the correct address.
Send to the address by itself, no other addresses. Does the email get through?
Best wishes!
