Hi Experts,
Nildram2 was the first AD Server in the forrest and therefore held all the FSMO roles. I need to move all the FSMO roles to another AD server on another network (still same forrest, domain etc). I have moved three of the FSMO roles over to the new AD server, I still need to move Schema and Infastrusture, can I simply transfer the remaining roles? I am concerned as this server was the first in the domain/forrest, it there anything else I need to do before/after afrer moving all the FSMO roles over?
"lon-srv-ad1" knows about 5 roles
Schema - CN=NTDS Settings,CN=NILDRAM2,CN=Servers,CN=Nildram,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=qbitsa,DC=com
Domain - CN=NTDS Settings,CN=LON-SRV-AD1,CN=Servers,CN=London1,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=qbitsa,DC=com
PDC - CN=NTDS Settings,CN=LON-SRV-AD1,CN=Servers,CN=London1,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=qbitsa,DC=com
RID - CN=NTDS Settings,CN=LON-SRV-AD1,CN=Servers,CN=London1,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=qbitsa,DC=com
Infrastructure - CN=NTDS Settings,CN=NILDRAM2,CN=Servers,CN=Nildram,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=qbitsa,DC=com
