Anyone know how to script config changes to PIX firewalls?
Hi,
I have 2 ISP's and 2 seperate routers. I have one PIX 515e which can only use one ISP at a time. In the event of 1 ISP going down I want to switch the config of the PIX to use the second ISP details.
Currently I have a text file with the IP address, route statements etc which relate to each ISP and if one ISP goes down I telnet to the PIX, log in manually and paste the config changes myself. Then when the primary ISp comes back up I reload the PIX and the original config is restored.
I'd like a script that I can run which logs in to the PIX and executes these changes.
I'm no script writer so need a link to a good tutorial or an example of an already written script.
I'm in a hurry so 500 points here.
Thanks in advance.
