Help

I have win2k3, exchange 2003 sp2, OWA works fine on http and https

We have recently bought some mobile phone running pocet pc sw with microsoft active sync

I have enabled outlook mobile access in exchange and aduc

I have tried to configure activesync to sync (dont really know what im doing) with the exchange server, but it cant find the server

i use the owa credentials for the active sync exchange settings

Is there a step by step guide? what credentials / setting should i be using for activesync?

Thanks

First thing to do, test the OMA website. Goto http://<servername>/oma. You should get a logon screen. Simply type username and password. If owa works for this user, oma should work to. Once logged in, you should get a text based display of the mailbox

On the mobile device, uncheck ssl opion for testing. Credentials for activesync are the same as users domain credentials. Domain name has to be filled in, without any .local or.com or whatever.

Let me know what you find out doing steps above.

Regards.

then try this one found on msexchange

I had the same, followed the advice in the article 817379 then realised my event log messages were slightly different. I was getting Event 1501 "No user credentials were found in the HTTP request. etc" This I fixed by removing anonymous access in the OWA virtual site within IIS manager (Default Web site... OMS, rt click and properties. Directory security tab, Click on edit in authentication and access control)

amedexitt - this is an old question. Unlike a forum it is not possible to "bump" questions back up the list. The only people who will see your post are those that have already participated. Instead you should post your question as a new question in the Exchange Server Zone which will allow other experts the chance to see the question and respond.
