I'm checking some servers that I've never checked before and I'm seeing more than one server with these errors:<br />

An error occurred in connecting to the &lt;mail.widgets.net&gt; POP3 server for user &lt;bob@widgets.com&gt;. The error is 11004. The server may be down for maintenance or your server is not connected to the Internet. <br />
<br />
I've seen what they have to say on <a href="http://www.eventid.net" rel="ugc">www.eventid.net</a>, but I want to see if anyone here has had success in troubleshooting this specific error on a Win2003 SBS. I do't want to waste my time chasing a meaningless or harmless event. Thanks.

POP3 Connector error 11004

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).
