File::Copy issue with network permissions

I'm running a program on Computer A.  I want the program to copy a file from Computer B (on the same workgroup) to Computer A.  The file on Computer B is in a shared folder.  Now, I'm using the System::IO::File::Copy command (File::Copy(String* target, String* destination, bool overwrite)).  This works fine when the shared folder has FULL permissions for Everyone.  However, it does not work if the permissions are set to Read only.  I want to be able to copy a file from a computer which I only have read-only access.  Any help on how to do this will be greatly appreciated.  This is a Windows Form Application using Visual C++ .NET 2003.

Does CopyFile API work in this case? You can call unmanaged API directly from managed code.

I dunno, I've never tried CopyFile.  I'll give it a go though.  I'll let you know if I run into any problems.

Interesting. Looks like File::Copy bug or some "hidden feature".
