Can this be rewritten to NOT use evaluate and get the same effect?

<cfset aList = Evaluate("COOKIE.#attributes.cookiename#")>
<cfset "COOKIE.#attributes.cookiename#" = ListAppend(aList,attributes.someValue)>

Thanks,

I haven't tried something like that before, but it should work like this:

<cfset aList = cookie[attributes.cookiename] />
<cfset cookie[attributes.cookiename] = ListAppend(aList, attributes.someValue) />
