Why the user is not getting e-mail from some users while the user can sent the mail to outside clients.

I am runnign Exchange Server 2003 and outlook 2003.  Couple of our users (we have about 110 users), are not receiving the e-mail from outside the company.  One of the user is getting the following message. This user is not receiving the e-mail from this person only.
Reporting-MTA: dns;xxxmail.INTRA.xxx.ORG

Final-Recipient: rfc822;XXXX.com
Action: delayed
Status: 4.4.7

Another user is not receivng any e-mail from outside.  the user is getting e-mail from inside the company and able to send the e-mail to people outside.

Thanks for all the help

Delay messages mean exactly that - they are delayed. Of no use whatsoever.
What you need is the fatal failure message. There will be code and text on the NDR that indicates what the problem is.

As for the user who isn't receiving any email from outside the company, what is the NDR being received? If you send from an external account what happens?

What does message tracking say?

I tried to send using my e-mail from home, but I din't received any NDR.  It is almost like disappeared in the jungle.
Without an NDR troubleshooting is almost impossible, as you don't know where the message could be. The problem may not be at your site.
Have you got message tracking on? Does it show your message coming in?

You could also try sending a message from outside via telnet:

and see if the message is actually delivered.

The issue was with LDAP with SMS.  the issue been resolved .  Thanks for all the comments
