Send Notification

Hi everyone,

To start with my question, how am I going to send a notification message to other computer inside my LAN? for example, I click a button in my app, then it sends a notification message box to the recipient's desktop that the button has been clicked.

A sample source code would be much appreciated.

This isn't something you would usually do.  For a start it needs your 2 computers to know about each other, it needs them both to be available and it needs them both to not have firewalls installed.

A more common approach is to use a similar model to Instant Messaging software.  You have a server that is waiting for messages and everyone sends and gets messages from that server.

PC1 sends message to server addressed to PC2
server receives that message and stores it
PC2 asks server "any messages for me?"
server passes the message to PC2

That means that all of your PCs only need to know 1 address - that of your server.  There is no point to point comms.

Depending on the detailed requirements on the nature of those messages, there may well be software out there already dto do what you want.
