Hi

There's a good guide to setting up SSL (HTTPS) on IIS here

http://builder.com.com/5100-6389-5055536.html

You can require https via two different methods:

1. Require https on the site by going to the "Directory Security" tab in the IIS Website properties, click "Edit" under "Secure Communication" and tick "Require secure channel". Anyone using http rather than https will be knocked back.

2. Create two different sites, one using http and one using https. The http site should have a single default.asp page <% response.redirect "https://mysite.com" %> to redirect to the secure version. The advantage of this method is that people will be redirected without an error message.

then just set up https, but don't require it and then use https in your links when you want to!

this what I am trying through my code, that is should only user https:// for album.aspx file and no other file.
really worked on it whole night on this.
then put in your album.aspx page_load event:

if (Request.ServerVariables["HTTPS"].ToString()=="off") Response.Redirect("https://mysite.com/photoalbum/album.aspx");
