Computers on my network are suddenly getting a message saying "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem with and add-on and needs to close"  The add-on running at the time is flash.ocx .   The browser closes.  Restarting and rebooting do not solve the problem.

Go to IE,  then Tools pull-down, Manage Add-ons

Scroll thru list and find flash.ocx,  select it, then select "Update ActiveX" if it will allow you to in the lower right.  If not, Disable it.  Click OK

You may also want to go to Adobe.com and download the latest Flash Player.
