I am assigned a programming project at work. The project involves creating a rapid applicaition that accepts certain entries from a user, and accordingly manipulates data on a SQL database. I am tasked to write the code in C#.<br />

I am well versed with C++ and know java at an academic level. Could you please direct me to some good references (books, online material) that can well-prepare me for my project. I have a few days to read before start coding.<br />

C# is an object-oriented programming language created in conjunction with Microsoft’s .NET framework. Compilation is usually done into the Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), which is then JIT-compiled to native code (and cached) during execution in the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
