... replicated to the local machine. This machine is not working properly as a DC. I am replacing my only server that servs all roles plus exchange. I have transfered the FSMIO rules and DNS. Running NETDIAG gives me the above error. Kinda stuck with this one. Do I need to run adprep?

I'm replacing the only server we have with a newer system. I brought the new server up, ran complete updates, joined it to the domain, ran dc promo, transfered FISMO rolesl, transfered DNS and am now working on getting exchange moved.

Lets reinstall DNS on the server and let it repopulate

DCDIAG would be better
