We had a problem when we deployed the code yesterday. In the code we had the change the java class structure by moving one of the classes in a new pacakge, but we did not change anything in the jsp page that calls this tag class since we don't need to. Once we deployed the code we were seeing the old jsp page and we figured out the websphere did not clear the old jsp file from the cache that was compiled before and we had to delete that particular jsp's .class file in order for it to create the new one with new code. Is their a way to setup in webshpere that it does this automatically wheneveer we have this type of code change.

You can delete the contents of the WebSphere/AppServer/temp directory.  It contains the compiled jsp page information (class files).  Since the class files won't exist in the cache, then a recompile of the jsp will occur.

Alternatively, you can use the JSP Batch Compiler tool
