DOwnload a site

Im trying to make a backup copy of a sharepoint site i created with 1 and 1 using frontpage 2003. I have used the import function but have found that it wont import the subsites. Is this the best way to import the site and if so, how do import the subsites

Don't use the import feature - it does not work all that great.  Did you try publishing from server to local: http://www.timeforweb.com/frontpage/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4988&PN=2

Actually Ive just saved it as a web package- havent tried publishing it to local as it tells me that i need a local server which i dont have. Is the saving as a web package a good alternative?

No, not really.  The steps I outlined the in the above link will assure that you download everything and your FP website is maintained
