Hi All,

I might be that I place this question in the wrong place. If so, please help me to find the right place, thanks.

We've lots of servers that send error messages and the SMTP server we've now sometime
sends sometime not. This server will be managed from the central admin from the company and we've little way to see and find out the reason why it works unreliable.

So, we want to install an SMTP server that sends/forward mails to the Lotus Notes server's mailbox if there's an error.

We don't want to use this server to send mails to the Internet we only want that the server sends mails internally. (only error messages)

Can you please tell me how to start to install it?

Control panel>Add/remove programs>Windows Components>Internet Information Server>SMTP Server.
You can then manage it through the Internet Information Service MMC snap-in.
