Hi Experts,

Can you provide me a brief introduction about what is PSTN and what it can do ?
And is there any data speed limit on PSTN linked networks? What is the maximum available speed through a line PSTN ?

Thanks a lot !

PSTN is the public switched telephone network.  You can call people on the telephone.

You can achieve 33.6kbps over the PSTN, 56kbps if you have digital connections to the PSTN.
