This problem keeps re-acuring on a clients PC.
I have googled it to hell and back, but the only answer I come across is to do a windows repair.

The client can after several boots get into his OS, but he is not happy about having to do so.

Has anyone come across a good solution to this problem?

He is running Win XP Home.

System restore does not help him.
LKG has been tried, but it sometimes works and sometimes not.

Once you get in, go to Control panel>System>Advanced>Performance Settings>Advanced, and try setting teh paging file to System Managed.

Also, this Article speaks about teh issue on Server 2000/2003, but should be fine for XP. Just back up that key prior to adding the value....

"Lsass.exe-System error The endpoint format is invalid" error message when you log on to a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and either Windows Server 2000 or Windows Server 2003
