Showing a photo when the gallery starts

Hello,

Please visit the link below:

http://absolute-studios.com/gallery/gallery.swf

I got this gallery from ohmyflash.com and when the gallery starts, you have to click on a thumbnail to have a picture come up...How could I have the gallery show a photo when it loads without having to click on a thumbnail at first.  I could upload the fla so you could look at it.

Thanks.

Thank you for responding blue-genie, on frame one the actionscript tells the movie what to do but no sure where I can edit it...ive placed the fla on the link below so you could have a better idea.

thanks again,

Johan,
ok i mocked it up to load the images to see what's happening, you want image1 to load immediately instead of having to click on the little grey square buttons at the bottom?
got some bugs to fix then i'll have a look at ur file, if no one gets to it before then

:-)
yea i need it to have image1 to load immediately instead of having to click on the little grey square buttons at the bottom when the gallery appears/loads

Johan,

I foound out you can't really change the actionsript to do that....or to make it work that way...we would have to basically recreate everything with new actionscript....blue-genie you've been able to edit it successfully?
omg totally forgot about you. Sorry - busy on a ghastly java project. will put a reminder to have a look tonight and i'll let u know if i have any joy tomorrow.
sorry :-(
its cool blue-genie...I appreciate you've taken the time to look at the question in the first place.

I did some researching and the way the gallery was made..it was only to make it work absolutely only with that code..some editing could be done but to have the first pic come up...some new actionscript will have to be written or pretty much recreating the whole thing from scratch......

but if you were able to find something it be good but if not...I would still like to reward some kind of points for taking a look at the file.

thanks

johan,
i did glance at the code, and i've just checked it's still on my desktop, i remember thinking its' not a quick fix, hence i parked it and forgot about it, but i promise to have a nosey round properly tonight.

later.
Hey Johan,

i'm stumped, had a poke at the code last night, i'm usually convinced it's possible to hack it, but no luck.

i'm on manic deadline til the 15th, but if you have time to nosey around urself,
i was thinking if you look at the btn_onRelease code - if you can somehow get that called onload ..
you want to load just the first picture first - rather than having to click something first right....

i don't know how much of a hurry you're in, but maybe after the 15th remind me and will poke some more

sorry, don't have better news :-(
blu
I'll look into it with the advice you've giving on the btn_onRelease code....it could work....I'm not in a hurry...take your time and I'll post a comment here to see how it goes.  thanks again,

johan,
