What about browsing tio the update manually, and launching the spuninst.exe ?

C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB918439$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

Or you could also search under this Key for the KBUPDATE name..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

and get the clsid, and then run

msiexec /u {CLSID}
