Flash Version Detection.. NOOB question

Hello experts,

I've read some of the articles here on version detection, and since I'm relatively new to AS, I could use some help.

Here's the deal:  I'd like to have an action script

Detect the version of the player
if the version is less than 7, REPLACE the swf with a static image.

I think this is what has to happen: basically I'd just have to issue a stop() command after I send them to a static cell in the file, or dynamically load an image (best scenario) when the version check fails...  I just have no idea on how to do this...

Thanks in advance,
Stu

Aneesh,

I'll give it a shot in our test environment tomorrow... Looks interesting, so I'll let you know how it goes.
