I know how to reset these to factory defaults, problem is I don't want to do that because there is so much info in there that is not easily accessible. For on the IT guy before me changed it and he says that he gave it to me but what he gave me does not work. I would have to call my ISP and wait forever to get all my IP info, since the last guy never wrote this stuff down. We have many port forwarding options and dont want to miss one.

So, other than setting back to defaults, how can I hack/brute-force..etc into this thing???

Why do you need to get into it? is something wrong with it or you just want to know how to get in? You can not get in without the pwd unless you reset to factory defaults. Not that I know of any ways and I work with these evryday! The only option to be sure not to miss any is to get a new one and set it up as you think it should be and put it in place of the other and test to see if you missed anything or if anything doesnt work then whatever is not working you add to it and you always still have the old one to put back in place if by chance you cant figure out what is missing or how to make it work again. Then once you have the new one all working and everything is great you Write down all the settings or print them off. Then you can reset the old one to factory defaults and set it up as the new one is and if you do it within 30 days you could even probably return the new one to the store if you really dont need the second one and nothing is wrong with your old one. Good Luck! Documentation is Very Important!!

While it is possible to put two routes in place with the secondary having a higher metric, this may not always work. In the event of a failure that does not bring down the physical interface on the router the primary route is not removed. There is a…
