My Documents Synchronization is not synchronizing everyday

Hello Gurus,

I have a client that his laptop’s My Document is supposed to be Synchronize every time he logs in and out.  But the system does not synchronize everyday it more likely behaves like if it will synchronize every two days.  For example, if he works on an excel file that is located on the server, and is save on his Document Folder and he goes home that night, and tries to open the file at home the system will not find the file anymore until he connects again to the server.

Please Help is very urgent to resolve this matter.

Thanks

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Everyday, synchronization does not take place with Excel Files (3 - 5 days behind).
Inconsistently (once or twice a week), sychronization does not take place with Word Document (1 day behind).
