Hi,

Try:
datetimeunitid = Convert.ToInt32(_ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["DateTimeUnitId"]);
dateperiodtypeid = Convert.ToInt32(_ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["DatePeriodTypeId"]);
