IMF v.2 not installed properly......

It seems that IMF v.2 did not install properly when the Exchange 2003 SP2 was installed. I believe the problem was caused by IMF v.1 not being uninstalled b4 the SP2 install.  The C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Bin\MSCFV2 folder exsists, but the reg key \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\exchange ContentFilterVersion has a Reg_Dword value of 1 still and in Exchange System Manager the IMF tab is not found under the SMTP Virtual Server. In Add Remove Programs, Microsoft Exchange Intelligent Message Filter shows up with a ver. 6.5.7202.0 which I believe is v.1 also.

Should I uninstall the IMF from Add Remove Programs and re-install SP2?

Thanks!

Your proposed fix should resolve the problem.
IMF v.1 conflicts and needs to be removed. Then reapply the service pack.
