I am trying to use a REV 35 USB backup drive with Veritas Backup Exec 9.1.  However, I cannot get Veritas to recognize the drive.  I will not see the REV even when I have the REV system software installed.  Does anyone know how to make a REV drive work with Veritas?

Make sure you have fully patched BE. Also I'm not absolutely sure if it works with v9.1, but I think it should. Then you should see the rev as a removable HD or CD type device. After that just create a removable storage group with that drive. It won't show up as a tape, as it isn't a tape.
