Microsoft console based script host error

I have a customer that When she boots her PC, it stays on Loading Startup
Scripts. for about 20 minutes and then gets an error
"Microsoft console based script host has encountered a
problem and has to close. We are sorry for any
inconvenience."
something about wer0421.dir00 cscript.exe  I know that this file is part of command-based script host on windows xp  but I can't find a solution to this problem.

Also some internet sites that she visits have missing
content.

Sounds like a virus or spyware. Have you performed a complete AV and spyware scan with updated definitions? If you don't have a anti spyware solution, try Windows Defender.

thank for the help but I found out the problem was the Microsoft Script Host I have to reinstall it  and the internet explorer problem was related to incorrect settings.
