probelm with adding dll through reference

asp.net with c# and "inpout32.dll" which is to be added as reference and the error is "not type library found"  

even problem with registering with the dll as the error message is

"c:\dll\inpout32.dll is loaded but the DllRegisterServer" entry point was not found . the file cannot be registered "

You can only add references to COM libraries, and this is not one of those.  You would need to use p/invoke signatures for those methods that you need access to.
