I need to be able to recover the file and not just look at what file was deleted.

McKnife,

I saw that URL.  One of the links is dead.  PC Inspector does not allow undeletion of files for the free trial.  I need to see the contents of files.

I am using that program in version 4.0 and on their page it says it is freeware. It can recover files.

McKnife...  Okay... I was just testing one that was a few months old.  Friday ended up being insanely busy and I foudn something else that worked really well that did not require an installation.  I am home now and don't remember the name.  I'll give out points now
