Hylafax email confirmation

I've setup a machine with Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server and a serial modem. I installed hylafax using the Ubuntu repositories (sudo aptitude install hylafax) and it works beautifully. I can send faxes using the Winprint Hylafax or WHFC Windows clients. The problem is, I do not receive an email confirmation once the fax is sent. I believe this is an issue with Sendmail. Does anyone have this working? Please help!
