Can I setup the environment so that when I type:


If  <some condition>  Then


it will automatically insert:

End If

Hi,

unfortunatley this can not be done

You can select "Automatic insertion of end constructs" that will fill in some constructors for you but not end if
http://dnjonline.com/article.aspx?ID=mar05_vbvscsharp (shows you how to do this)

But you can not get it to give you your end if (partly this is becuase the IDE would not know where to put it (at what nesting leve) http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1279547&page=10 explains this in more detail.

You could however create a template with this code snippet and then select that to write your "END IF" but this is about ally ou can do

Huh...seemed to work that time....

Is there a way to turn it ON / OFF  (this functionality)  ??
