Unable to contact the gateway of the network

Mylan is 192.168.254.x 255.255.255.0
i assigned .1 to gateway (Zywall 5)
i assigned .2 to sbs2003 server(primergy 150s4 siemens)
if i try to connect to gateway or to internet using my notebook (.3 IP) everything is ok and also if i try to contact the server
if i try to connect to gateway using the server it does not answer.
If i change the subnet (192.168.12.x) everything works..... what can i do?
i have to use 192.168.254.x in 'cause i have several ipsec vpns with many customers....

help me please!

I found thanks... it really was firewall upgrading firmware the problem is closed!!!
