I am trying to setup E1 PRI on my 3COM NBX SS3 running on firmware R4_3_17. Can anybody help me in setting it up?

Details:
PRI in terminated at remote location CISCO routers are used as PRI gateway to transport it to central office where NBX is located. PRI is being transported on CISCO routers from remote location to central office but sadly when I connect it to NBX, my NBX remains at Red Alarm status. So far I have tested two digital line cards with the same result. My initial impression is maybe CISCO and 3COM NBX need to get similar protocols which they apperantly dont have at this time.

Thanks,

If you are getting Red alarm you are not getting even a Layer 1 connection.  Check your wiring first.  You will likely need a T1 crossover cable in this instance.  Pins 1,2 to 5,4 on your RJ45 connectors.

The 3Com card is standards based and supports most signalling protocols.  What is the Cisco and 3Com set at?
