I need a steo by step guideline to setup microsoft windows 2003 server with domain and also microsoft exchange server. any ideas about documentation with clear step by step instructions?

How to install Active Directory (a domain):

Exchange Install:
http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/exchange2003/exchange_2003_install.htm

Note - if you only have one server, install it on the domain controller - iif you have TWO servers or more, Exchange should NOT be installed on a domain controller.  Reference:
