Assigning a foreign window to the current process ?

Is there an API function that will assign a window belonging to a foreign process to the current process ?

Ultimately, I want to subclass the foreign window without resorting to a DLL .

Any thoughts ?

Generaly, it's not possible with VB. But in particular you can intercept some messages (keyboard, mouse - see my sample at http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=1610)
