Sophos Enterprise 6.04 not deploying properly

One user keeps getting an error when we deploy manually (over the network) or kick it off from the Enterprise Console.

We get an error that references something called an impersonation account. I cannot find any more info on this issue. Can someone shed some light on this?

The version we are running is Sophos 6.04 AV with Enterprise Console 2.0.

Thanks!

Ok, this issue we have seen when Sophos installs incorrectly. Once it installs incorrectly, you will have to go into the users and groups on the machine and delete any accounts that start with Sophos_(random text).

This is the account that gets created for the installation and then should dissapear. It should also show up in other groups as well. There should be some other Sophos named groups on that PC. Delete those as well.

Then try a manual install by going to the Sophos shared folder on the server. It does not normally allow you to install by pushing out once it fails.

Finally, check to make sure that local admins have rights to the machine you are trying to install to. If they don't the install could fail as well.

Good luck!
