Does anyone know of a cheap and effective spam solution to put on my MDAEMON server?  Most unlimited license programs go for around $1400 and that is too much.  I have spam filter checked on MDAEMON but it doesn't work.  I really only want to spend up to $300.00

Thanks

Hi robdijo,

The cheapest would be a unix flavoured smtp gateway running postfix with spamassasin.

Cheers!

Ok you dont know what this is, so we can't continue as it would be very hard to set this up with you.

Have you tried to use RBL and then use spamhaus to check.
I dont know how to set this up I can only point you in the good direction.

You need a platform independent solution. Check out www.itanetworks.com and their Secure Messaging. The most important thing is to get something with licensing that is per your number of users, so you don't waste money on extra licenses.
