HOW TO INSTALL ECC 5.0

Dear SAP Experts,

I purchased ECC 5.0, recieved this in 7 DVD'S, to install this software first it has to be installed JAVA then ORACLE after all this successul installation when i start preparing for SAP INSTALLATION...G:\saperp2004\IM1\SAPINST\NT\I386  once im in the folder I386  will see one application by name SAPINST when double click on it..after this step one window pops up and click on SAP ERP 2004  and then click on SAP ECC 5.0 ABAP SYSTEM then click on NON-UNICODE then click on INSTALL A CENTRAL INSTANCE after this when i click on NEXT it ask for LABLEASC file..this where im facing a problem....where is this file located..plz....??????????????

Hi syedsiddiqui,

We generally copy all the DVDs onto disk and then start the SAPINST, the LABEL.ASC file used to originally be located in the root directory of every SAP DVD/CD.

Just copy all DVDs to your DISK , the correct LABEL.ASC should be in the MASTER DVD root directory.
