FileMaker 7 Server / Can't see remote file in FM client

I have shared a file in FM server 7, but I cannot see that file when I try to connect to it via a remote connection from an FM7 client.  When I try to open from a client, I see all the other hosted files on that server, but not the one in question.

FYI: The file is listed as "open" in the FM Server MMC snap-in under "files".

What could I be doing wrong?

the file has probably not been shared before being placed on the server.
Take it to a client machine,
open it locally with a fm client, share it (filemaker/sharing/filemaker network) close it and put it back on server.
Using the MMC fm admin tool, right click on name, and share it again.
You should now see it.
Or, the file is corrupted and the server cannot open it (should be visible in log file). In this case; take it to a client machine, and use file/recover.
Throw away the original file, rename the recovered one with the original name and put it back on server, then share it using the admin tool.
Any other case? come back here again!
