how to implement asp with imagemagick?

Hi guys,

I have downloaded and installed imagemagick and wish to implement with ASP, is there any scripts and example?

all I can say is good luck using that.

One of my co-developers tried quite unsuccessfully to implement a image resizer using that component and ASP, and found that he had to shell out and use a command line in his vbScript (well...essentiall making it WScript).

It was a complete failure, only because of permission issues.  Essentially for it to work you would need to allow IUSR_ access to cmd.exe which is highly (and I stress HIGHLY) un-advisable.

Your best bet is to find a different component

thanks all, i tried with using WScript to execute the imagemagick, had no problem at first, but then it kept generating script errors on the server itself when resizing some specific images, don't know why and had no time to find out. So i used another component instead
