Flash Player 8 with video converted to Player 6

Hi There,

I've created a piece of flash with video in it and exported as an swf file for flash player 8.

The client have now told me they have flash player version 6 on all their machines and its not going to be upgraded for some time.

I can't however output the thing at version 6 because it does not support the video codec.

What is the easiest way of getting it into version 6 format without having to redo it somehow again?

And does flash player version 6 support any video format?

Thanks

Martin

Yes you can use video in Flash 6 - in must be embeded in the swf, not an flv. When you import the video in to flash 8, choose to embed the video and then use the flash 7 encoding options.
