My Japanese president saw my Verizon xv6700 Smartphone and saw it's value for when he is away.  He would prefer to work in his native Japanese language.  I can't find a decent answer from Verizon or Microsoft to determine if this phone can be programmed to operate in Japanese.  Is there a language pack or some other alternative for Windows Mobile 5?

Not now it does not have AKU 3.2 which supports langague packs. For now you would need a Japanese ROM from verizon not from microsoft. You would have to be a customer to find out if the have it. I wouldnt hold my breathe for that rom.
