Outlook Appointments Problem

I have a customer that just emailed me and is highlighting the following problems in his Outlook 2003:

Recurring appointments cannot be opened.
Cannot delete recurring appointments.
Website hyperlinks cannot be opened



He is using a PDA and synching back and forth, and I think that might be related. Any ideas of what might be going on?

When using a CDO-based application to accept a meeting request for a recurring meeting series, the series may be deleted in Exchange Server 2003

I did not find anything that addressed my question in any of those knowledge base articles aa230002. Thank you for contributing to my thread though.
