how to do the "make link" to a php code

hi
i have a php code that display a name of an article, in desin view i have the icon of the php code. i select it and roght click to do "make link" but this option is not there.

what can i do?

Hi Ron,

You can't do as you describe in design view unless the PHP code is a simple echo of a DW designed recordset.  The interface doesn't support "custom" PHP coding in a consistent manner.  

Just wrap the relevant code with the <a> tag in code view.
