I'm runnning PCMACLAN 9.0.1 on a Windows XP box with all the latest XP patches installed. I installed PCMACLAN ok, it opens and connects to the MAC server, I'm using it strictly for file transfer between my XP box and an OS X web server. I get the bluse screen when I try to initiate a file transfer. It will actually transfer a file or 2 here and there but eventually Blue Screens every time.

Here is the event log:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x806d0753, 0xeb32c378, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini110106-05.dmp.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I would give you the conents of the .dmp file but I can't download the dumpcheck util from Microsoft on this network.

any ideas anyone?

BTW: I talked to the PCMACLAN tech support twice about this and they said uninstall Symantec Antivirus which to me is not a solution.

You do not need PCMACLAN to connect to OSX Server. OSX Server supports Windows networking.
