Exchange 2003 Migration from Exchange 5.5 Move Mailbox Problem

Hello all

I am having issues moving some mailboxes from my Exchange 5.5 Server. The
majority of mailboxes have been migrated however some have not. When I choose
move mailbox on the rogue mailboxes the count moves to greater than 100% and
just keeps going. I have to cancel in the end and I receive no errors apart
from the fact that I have cancelled the migrate.

It seems to start with the message Moving Mailbox. Root (8128/9) as an
example. The ones that have completed do not have Root they just say moving
Inbox / Sent Items etc and complete normally.

Hope you can help

Regards

The article has some tips about how to move mailboxes between servers and also has links to related useful articles.
I would strongly recommend you to read through the article as it will help prevent common problems which can occur during moving mailboxes"
