Monitoring my internet activities....

I m using windows 2000.  I usually feel i dont get internet speed i deserve.  So is there any software/program/utility that shows which application/file is using how much of my connection/download speed??

Not really.

1) goto dnsreport.com and in the utils section there are lnks to sites to do speed checks.
2)there are also utils to tune your computer for faster Internet speeds.
