Hi,

I need to migrate all users from Exchange 2K (part of SBS2K) to a new DC running Exchange 2K3. I don't have a problem migrating the mailboxes (not started that yet), but a slight hitch with Outlook Web Access at the moment. Exchange 2K3 is loaded up ok with latest SP and if I type in http://{newmailserver}/exchange it redirects me to http://{oldsbsmailserver}/exchange . I want to prove the new server is working before switching over. I thought I would create a test mailbox account on the new mail server and access it via a browser, then expose it to the internet for testing. Is there a way of stopping it redirecting ? We are slowly moving away from SBS due to expansion.

OWA will redirect to the server that holds the mailbox.
The only way to stop it from redirecting is to have a mailbox on the new server so that when you authenticate it stays put.

Have you replicated your public and system folders yet? If not, you should do that now, before any mailboxes go across (except test mailboxes) otherwise you will have a performance hit from your users.
